I'm forever grateful to Denise for helping me have an incredibly beautiful experience delivering my son. I really appreciated her calm and reassuring presence, her suggestions and massage on my back helped tremendously during contractions and her reminders to breath encouraged me all the way. I felt very comfortable with her - Denise has that feminine grace and strength that reassures you without being overbearing. My husband was also very glad we had her in the room - it was less pressure for him to be the perfect partner, so he could stress less and actually be more helpful and enjoy his experience as well. 

I appreciated all the information Denise shared with me during our meetings before the delivery and all the resources she provided. Her visit when the baby was a couple of weeks old was also very thoughtful and welcome.

Another very important note. My hospital nurse later told me that she had seen doulas with her patients- some of them help and others don't. The nurse felt that Denise did a great job being present and very helpful, yet not getting in the way of others who were also were doing their jobs.

Denise has been unbelievable through both of my pregnancies and labors.
